Transportation around Leavenworth, WA
Transportation services in the Leavenworth area:
We worked with Shannon and Leavenworth Shuttle and Taxi to arrange shuttle service for our wedding at Mt. Springs Lodge in Leavenworth.
Had a great experience working with the crew at Leavenworth shuttle to provide our group of 12 transportation to and from Oktoberfest. The van was spotless, our driver arrived early and gave us all great instructions for our evening pick up. I appreciate the work everyone put in to make sure patrons of the event from the surrounding area arrive and get home safe.
Great people working at this company! We used them for our first Oktoberfest experience. We were late for our pick up but James waited for us. Carolyn drove us back to our campground. She and James have great disposition for their jobs. This company deserves 5 stars!
t will take you about 4 hours to get to Leavenworth station from Seattle, 30 minutes further to Wenatchee so you have many lodging options. I myself love driving in the snow but in Winter this may be your best way to go back and forth even though that's twice as long as by car. Just having the Empire Builder Amtrak stopping here gives you options from Seattle to Chicago It's a historic route founded in 1892 and you get to go through 8.3 mile Cascade Tunnel on the way so it's a good trip just for the history of it
This is a tiny station with a small inside waiting area located in the parking lot (heated, looks like a storage cabin) and one port a potty. We took the Amtrak for just one stop: Everett to Leavenworth. The ride was about 2.5 hours and was totally worth it! I find the drive on Highway 2 to be tedious and boring, so being able to relax on a train felt like a luxury. The dining car was open on both our return and departure. Breakfast was pretty good but the sandwiches at dinner made us feel nauseous.
